FAQ

SHIPPING
What ages of students do you instruct?

Given the importance of motor skills throughout the developmental years, we feel a certain foundation must be in place prior to beginning lessons. Instruction will be provided to students ages elementary school - adult.

May I watch my child's lessons?

Absolutely! There is an area of the studio you may sit and relax while your child receives instruction. We encourage you to have a conversation with your child prior to sitting in on their lesson. Some children thrive with their parents present while other children may be too nervous to focus.

What genres of music do you teach?

We believe in studying a wide variety of musical styles. A great deal of fundamental and technical training can be gained by studying techniques specific to time eras and cultures. We will always engage our students in some music of their choice as well to keep them excited and engaged.

What supplies are required to start?

Violin and viola students will be required to provide their own instrument for use during lessons and practice at home. Piano students should have access to a piano for practice at home. We provide all sheet music, which is covered by the $20 registration fee per student.

When are payments due?

Payments are due at the beginning of each month. All forms of payment are accepted: cash, credit, and personal checks. We have a credit card terminal for credit processing in person as well. There will be a late fee of $15 to all payments received after the 5th of each month.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand illness and family emergencies are a reality of the world we live in. If a lesson must be cancelled, we will do our best to find a time that mutually works in order to make up the lesson. Please note: we are flexible, however we will not continue to accommodate these situations if it becomes a repetitive pattern.
